Background

About Sean Bunjamin

I have over a decade of combined experience of working in a marketing/product development team of a fortune-500 company and founding my own successful small businesses. My journey as a serial entrepreneur, from designing and exporting sustainable premium furniture in Java to exporting commodities and owning a restaurant business, has shaped my ability to think analytically and solve complex challenges. Three years ago, I pivoted to Impact Hub, where I’ve been committed to nurturing social entrepreneurs and empowering changemakers. I have helped launch several flagship programs and services to address key gaps in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, building strong relationships with program alumni and stakeholders. I’ve collaborated with local and international organizations, including government bodies, state owned corporations, international NGOs, and impact investors. I am deeply passionate about scaling impactful SMEs, an often overlooked sector, that are driving real change for people and the planet. I believe that in the near future, social business will be the norm, where profit goes hand in hand with sustainability. My goal is to accelerate this vision by supporting ventures starting with financial stability. With a foundation in industrial design, I approach business model development much like product design—deeply understanding the needs of customers, leveraging strengths, and tailoring solutions to the market. I’m eager to continue collaborating with ambitious startups and creating scalable, sustainable ventures that contribute to a better future.
