Background
About Sean Cannon
I am a student at Pennsylvania State University currently finishing my undergraduate degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management. My major focus is on outdoor recreation, and my emphasis is in Environmental Interpretation. As someone moving from the academic realm to a professional work setting, I hope to bring as much passion as I can to the table. I am someone who looks to work for organizations that my passions align with their policies. I believe our field is growing and I look forward to developing with it. A quote that encompasses my life philosophy is one by Ralph Waldo Emerson:"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success." I believe my place in this field will allow me to achieve success!
