Sean Casey is a proven business leader, entrepreneur, and public servant with experience in both military service and commercial industry. Originally from Rochester, New York, he has called Atlanta home since 1997, raising four children and becoming an influential figure in the export community. After co-founding Rotorcorp in 2011, Sean helped build the company into a major force in aerospace parts and services, guided by hands-on operational leadership shaped by his service as an M1 Abrams crewman in the U.S. Army. Taking the CEO role in 2018, he drove Rotorcorp’s growth, innovation, and successful exit in 2024, earning recognition for export excellence and industry impact. As Chief Commercial Officer at Dragon Q Energy, Sean leads global commercial strategy, deployment of innovative battery technology, and partnership development across humanitarian, defense, disaster relief, telecom, and infrastructure sectors. His expertise in international trade and business development helps accelerate company growth and secure energy access for diverse customers worldwide. Sean was awarded the Presidential “E” Award for Exports, has served two terms on the Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC) for Aerospace Equipment at the U.S. Commerce Department, and is active on the District Export Council (DEC), supporting policy and outreach for small businesses.
