I am an owner at BCR Comply, where we develop customised Applications (Apps) and Administration Dashboards which enable Architects, Engineers, Building Surveyors and all construction inspection professionals to carry out their compliance duties in an efficient and paper-free way. We also develop Software Compliance systems for the Latent Defect Insurance Industry. At Energy Rating & Planning Services we provide an One Stop Shop for Energy, Sustainable Design and Consulting services for Residential Buildings including BER Certificates, Advisory Reports and Upgrade Works Supervision, Technical Advisors regarding Heat Pump grant applications, Home Energy Assessors regarding One Stop Shop criteria, Sustainable Energy Community (SEC) Assessors, Housing Body and Local Authority Energy Assessments, Conformance to Building Regulations Part L and NZEB. For the past 6 years, we have become experts at solving the enormous administrative burden of Building Regulation Compliance using Apps and Dashboards, which drastically reduce the On-Site Inspection information gathering requirements and completely eliminate the use of paper-based document management by using our On-Line Compliance Software System. BCR Comply ensures that our users are completely covered with regard to all the compliance requirements placed on all Construction Compliance Professionals. My personal work experience has been gained in the management of new construction projects in the Residential, Industrial and Commercial sector in the U.K. and Ireland. I worked primarily on residential construction while in the U.K. dealing with the existing building control systems that have been in place going back four decades. I am a Registered Energy Assessor and Technical Advisor in Ireland with SEAI and registered in the U.K as an on Construction Energy Assessor, I am also experienced in the use of PHPP (passive house planning package) Software. I have tutoring experience working with Green Works, teaching building workers and professionals in the use of the DEAP (dwelling energy assessment procedure) software in relation to building regulation part L compliance.
