About Sean Conrad

I hold a valid interprovincial red seal with over 15 year in the trade. I progressed from the position of apprentice to lead hand, foreman and and eventually into a role as general foreman with Fisher Powerline Construction. As a member of a rubber glove crew with Nova Scotia Power I honed my live line skill set and gained invaluable experience from many excellent well established lineman. I also had the exciting experience as a lineman with Allteck Powerline. Gaining experience with their Linemaster robotic arm and other hotline transmission work. My experience is both of a utility lineman as well as a contractor in the oil sands environment. I am a team player who can also work independently to accomplish the goal set forth. I’ve had vast experience with rubber glove work on voltages 25 KV and under as well as hot stick work on transmission voltages. I’m comfortable with both the construction of new powerlines as well as the maintenance of existing plant. I have also been involved in both the writing of and execution of many switching procedures. As a past JOHSC member, I realize the importance safety plays in finishing a project; not only for myself, but for my whole team.
