About Sean Cox
My objective is a career in mechanical engineering, with an emphasis in energy systems and sustainability. My experiences at the Univ. of Victoria and in my various co-op internships, sparked an interest to better improve our relationship between industry and the environment, so that everyone may continue to enjoy the outdoors for years to come. I’ve always enjoyed getting outdoors and connecting with nature. Starting in the Boy Scouts, I took part in many outdoor adventures, from backpacking to snow caving. Throughout my years in university, I managed to continue doing weekend hikes all around BC, Canada and backpacking trips in Juan De Fuca and Strathcona parks in BC. These experiences, along with what I've learned in my education and work, has helped solidify and develop priorities that guide me in career objectives.
