About Sean Ferrel

Shortly after graduating, I began working for TEKsystems, one of the largest IT placement firms in the US. After departing TEKsystems, I decided there was a better way to help businesses with the IT challenges, and with that, I started my own IT management firm and founded Managed Solution in 2002. It started as a way of providing solutions to businesses that needed consulting assistance on an hourly basis, but it wasn’t long after that we expanded and quickly began working in the Managed Services and Systems Integration space. Within 3 years the company was quickly recognized as one of San Diego’s 40 fastest growing companies, awarded as one of the 40 companies with owners under 40 years old and is Microsoft's US Partner of the Year for Teamwork across our large portfolio of products. The key to the success has been the ability to adapt to economic trends, such as moving to the cloud, and attracting talented subject matter expert Engineers that provides a strong knowledge base to assist our clients in solving their business challenges. I truly have a passion for helping businesses innovate and take themselves to the next level by implementing and utilizing the right technologies. During this time, I found one of the best ways to connect with people was through education and public speaking. As a result, I landed a couple speaking gigs and have loved it ever since. I really enjoy connecting with audiences, both large and small, about the state of technology today and what the future holds, and how they can leverage the greatest emerging technologies.
