About Sean Fordham

I am a young, hard working and extremely motivated individual with 6+ years insurance experience. I deal with a vast variety of insurance claims. My role is extremely customer focused and I am the client’s first point of contact for any insurance claim they wish to make. My role is very diverse in respect to the different lines of business that my company encounters. I handle all types of Insurance claims including ‘Professional indemnity, property, commercial, all liability, marine/cargo and motor/fleet’ claims. I use my insurance knowledge to help myself and the company progress further. Whilst in my current role I have been given the opportunity to manage the claims team- I was in control of a team of 4 and the duties involved file reviews, audits, feedback, diary/figure reviews, chairing claim meetings and general management. • Excellent social skills. • Good team player, enjoy helping others better themselves with regular objectives and feedback • Very capable as an independent worker, able to self-motivate and discipline • Fast and competent learner • My productivity is very high and I pay very close attention to detail • Mature, confident person who works very well under pressure • Excellent organisation skills honed whilst in higher education due to the heavy work load and demonstrated in my current employment whilst coordinating claims • Patient and reliable character • Computer literate. Fully competent with several bespoke computer systems • ‘Can do’ attitude with strong focus on delivering first class customer service at all times • Competent to train others • A member of the CII and currently studying for my CII Diploma.
