About Sean Gallagher

Sean graduated with a BS in sports management from ECSU. He worked as a junior varsity high school football coach for the 2014 season at his alma mater, Bacon Academy. He became a fitness associate at the Glastonbury Healthtrax. He joined the Glastonbury family YMCA last year to be a youth sports instructor. This has been and continues to be a fun and enjoyable experience for him. Sean became a literacy paraprofessional at Memorial Elementary school in East Hampton in September 2018. He worked with kindergarten- grade 3 in small groups for reading enhancement. He was promoted to special needs instructor in February 2019. In April 2019 he acquired his certificate in PMT (psychological management training). He continues to do well in working with children with adhd, autism, and other behavioral issues. Sean also works at the Greater Hartford YMCA as a fitness trainer. He was a youth sports specialist at the "Sports on 66" facility in East Hampton, CT, where he coached youth sports and did personal training. Sean has volunteered for toys for tots for several Christmas seasons, thoroughly enjoying seeing smiles on children's faces."Working with fitness clients is very rewarding and my goal is to make the experience fun and successful.
