About Sean Higgins

I joined Westpac New Zealand in January 2019. For the past 20 years I have worked across a number of New Zealand organisations, including Westpac, The University of Auckland, Vodafone and AIA (Sovereign). I work in partnership across the business with leaders to explore the skillsets and learning requirements as we need to, in order to lead and adapt in a rapidly evolving world. Experienced in working in an agile environment as a valued learning and development team member within a dynamic and collaborative New Zealand and Australian banking group. I have a proven track record in developing and implementing learning and curriculum programmes in a large organisation with expertise in learning needs analysis, human centred design, design and building capability initiatives across a variety of channels, and measuring impact. I have strong leadership and coaching skills to lead on cross functional project teams using organisational and planning skills to implement initiatives. Strong stakeholder relationship management through displaying passion, drive and responsiveness to meeting stakeholder changes and needs. I am curious and adaptable with a growth mindset.
