About Sean Hill

My experience begins in Loblaws warehouse working first as an order selector, which promoted high quality performance while maintaining an above set standards average. I took advantage of voluntary training for all positions available to non-management employees. I held positions from Fork Lift Operator, Shipper/Receiver, Yard Master, to Loader Coordinator. During this time I went to the Humber Institute for Programmer Developer obtaining top grades. After graduation, I had contract positions at RBC Bank testing software, and then Morgan & Chase Bank as support to the trading floor. After these short stints I was hired at Loblaws head office as a Process Improvement Analyst, developing solutions to the Core Merchandising teams and providing training for Microstrategy, Biquery, and MS Access tools. It wasn't long thereafter when I moved into the Pricing Department, given multiple promotions up to Manager, rewarding the work I did by developing the Competitive Pricing and Reporting system leveraging Microsoft products such as Access, Excel, and linking to the backend of the reporting system Biquery suite. After a short time, I moved into Pricing, working closely with Category Directors and Merchants, optimizing processes and generating reports, reducing errors impacting margin, and identifying items to apply different pricing strategies to grow consumer trust and loyalty.
