I'm a life long NH, USA resident and tech enthusiast with a slight bicycle, motorcycle, and hiking obsession. Here's a list of some tech I've worked with (either present or past), in no particular order.Net, specifically C#- Although I've done quite a bit in this sphere, my favorite accomplishment has been a public API consumed by various client applications (Web, desktop, and mobile)- Azure - App services, VMs, networking, caching, storage, SQL. Authorization with managed identities backed by AAD - MCP / RAG / Misc AI integrations - Azure DevOps. Building, testing, IAC (mostly Bicep as of late)- Authentication and authorization. My most recent project used Auth0 to give clients JWTs to pass along with incoming requests to our public API - SQL - Specifically MSSQL and AzureSQL. EntityFramework and Linq to SQL can be lumped in here too- Distributed network caching, specifically Redis- Linux (And to a lesser degree, FreeBSD). I knew how to escape VI before I could drive- IP Routing and switching (Juniper, Cisco, Extreme Networks, and Zebra (I believe that project is called Quagga now). Both at the edge (BGP4) and internal (Mostly OSPF)- Fiber optics. Terminating, splicing, active and passive WDM systems, short (between network elements) and long (Between central offices/cities) range. Pulling fiber through messy conduit at 3 AM- Wireless networking at service provider scale. P2MP (Using WiMAX when that was still a thing), long and short haul high capacity licensed (11-28 GHz) and unlicensed (sub-6) backhauls- DNS (Mostly using BIND. Resolution (Both authoritative and recursive), caching, security, and reliability. My very first tech job taught me to write zone files by hand, and I still do it that way to this day- Web services (Both Apache and Nginx). Throw in Apache mod_mono if you want to make things really weird- Load balancing and acceleration, primarily with HAProxy. My experience here is to use HAProxy for SSL termination before passing on the request to any number of servers on an internal network- General datacenter and central office skills and etiquette. Generator and battery inspection, HVAC design and operation, power systems (Both 3PH and -48VDC systems), and how to ACTUALLY do wire lacing with wax string.
