PROFESSIONAL PROFILE Dedicated and well-rounded legal professional who is well liked by my colleagues and peers. I have completed a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB-4) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal Howard Campus. I am a responsible and honest individual, displaying a prominent willingness to succeed and have the ability to interact respectfully and valuably with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. I am consistently seeking opportunities to develop my practical knowledge / legal acumen through hands on experience and exhibits great enthusiasm for the Legal profession. Having completed a full research Master’s (LLM) in Employment and Administrative Law in 2016, I have displayed a solid and perpetual work ethic, the ability to find viable solutions to challenging problems, and always offering valuable support and dedication towards my colleagues. In 2017 I attended and completed, with distinction, a full-time legal training programme with the School for Legal Practice in Durban. On the 6th and 7th of February 2018 I completed all four (4) attorney admission examination papers with distinction. My goal was to proceed with articles and signed Articles of Clerkship with Sali Attorneys in March 2018. I completed my articles and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court at a hearing on 25 June 2019. Having had the opportunity of Practicing as an Attorney, I wanted to find a career that was rewarding, both to me and those of whom I interact with. I joined the academic sphere at Varsity College Sandton as an independent Contract from February 2020 to present. My teaching philosophy from the start of my academic career is to impart critical thinking skills to our students and prepare them for the working world by being practice ready and confident. My 5-year goal is to complete my PHD. This will give me the opportunity to add to the research space by providing clarity and knowledge to my chosen research topic. WHAT DRIVES ME: my passion is teaching future lawyers how to be the best they can be. My confidence as a legal professional and as a law lecturer comes from a combination of hard work and dedication. Being successful both in my personal life and professional life is incredibly rewarding. The best feeling in the world is to impart knowledge on our students and inspire.
