Sean James NPD, Consulting & Design Sean is a graduate of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture – the most prestigious horticultural school in North America. He is Chair of Landscape Ontario's Environmental Stewardship Committee. He's active with the Ontario Invasive Plant Council's Horticultural Outreach Collaborative. He an active writer on eco-issues for several publications including Landscape Trades magazine, Garden Making, Ontario Gardener, Niagara Escarpment Views Magazine and in the Perennial Plant Association’s digital newsletter. Mr. James has worked on eco-sustainable projects with Aquifor Beech, the Town of Milton and the Town of Oakville, Toronto Region Conservation Authority, Conservation Halton and Credit Valley Conservation. His expertise has been sought by CBC, Zoomer Radio, HGTV, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and Landscape Ontario and various newspapers and magazines. Mr. James has spoken to botanical gardens, trade groups and horticultural societies and garden shows including Canada Blooms and horticultural trade shows, such as HortEast, CanWest and Landscape Ontario's Congress. Specialties: Sean James has the plant and design knowledge to tackle all landscape design projects, with and extra focus on rain water handling, native plantings and habitat creation and will be involved in all aspects of site assessment, design and presentation. Recently, he has moved into eco-consulting as well, helping home owners and business to landscape and live more sustainably. Sean saw that there was a demand for this service and has moved to fill it.
