About Sean Kibbee

Sean is a Digital and Application Innovation Specialist at Microsoft Canada, where he helps public sector organizations transform their IT systems and services with Azure cloud solutions. He holds multiple Microsoft certifications in cloud fundamentals, data and is a Certified Azure Developer Associate with over 20 years of experience in web development and IT modernization. Prior to joining Microsoft, Sean was a Technology Free Agent at the Government of Canada, where he worked on various projects across different departments, such as Transport Canada, Shared Services Canada, Treasury Board Secretariat and the Public Health Agency of Canada. He was responsible for enhancing and modernizing the IT infrastructure, tools, and processes related to data, cloud, mobile, and web applications, and for providing creative and innovative solutions to complex IT challenges. Sean is passionate about leveraging technology to improve the delivery and impact of public services and to achieve positive outcomes for citizens.
