About Sean Lee

I am a passionate and driven tech-lead and software engineer who enjoys working on challenging projects. I have extensive experience building consumer and developer products. I was a tech lead at Google working on a front-end for streaming data processing users at GCP. We are building with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, graphql, and using a backend for frontend architecture. We're also focusing on accessibility and unblocking adoption. Before that I was at Microsoft, where I contributed to Visual Studio and built a new Visual Studio Installer UI. On Windows, I worked in developer experience where we built WinJS, an app and UI framework. I also used SQL and C# to build batch data pipelines for measuring feature health. I studied at The Ohio State University as a research assistant. There I researched novel algorithms for searching large datasets using graphical techniques and MapReduce. As an undergrad, I worked with 360 Water developing electronic education material for wastewater plants. The material included Adobe Flash animations and ActionScript interactive applications to simulate different situations and devices.
