My background includes hands-on research, work and teaching in earth sciences, conservation, and wildlife management, providing a deep and broad foundation for a career to serve informed and sustainable environmental management. I've developed strong written and oral communication skills backed by robust analytical skills and advanced understanding of relevant software analytics tools. I have successfully completed BSc Honors and MSc theses, which I've had published (or am actively preparing to publish) in peer-reviewed journals. Using field sampling techniques, laboratory analysis, and software programs like ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, Python, and R, I've collected and interpreted diverse environmental datasets. My experience spans the fields of geography, geomorphology, hydrology, sedimentology, and ecology, with themes of Quaternary environmental processes and extreme flooding. I also have a strong background in administrative operations developed through involvement with student and nonprofit organizations.
