About Sean Loken

Hey there! I'm Sean Loken. I've included various professional achievements, as well as some personal details too! Check it out, and feel free to reach out with any questions! I graduated from the University of Jamestown in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a minor in Information Technology. In 2019 and 2020, I assisted the Computer Science department as the University as both a tutor and a Teacher's Assistant. Post-University, most of my professional software development career has been spent with NISC, operating under the Provisioning (formerly known as SwitchTalk2) Implementations team. Some notable achievements during my time at NISC include: writing new Provisioning Agents that have helped secure NISC several contracts with various Utility Broadband and Telecom companies; mentoring new hires to follow NISC best practices to ensure member success and continued growth within our organization; developing internal tools to assist senior management in parsing data; and providing feedback on new features as part of alpha and beta testing. I'm currently working towards an IBM Back-End Development Professional Certificate via Coursera to continue learning from industry experts, so that I can maintain existing skills as well as develop new ones. I am hoping to take some Full-Stack and Dev Ops courses once I have wrapped up this Back-End certificate.
