About Sean Malley

I believe my experience and knowledge makes me an excellent candidate for any position. I am an experienced QA Consultant having worked in both the retail and financial services sectors. In my most recent role, at Expleo Ireland, I am a Senior QA / QA Coordinator, supporting the delivery of a pipeline of projects for the Central Bank of Ireland. This means I have first-hand experience and the relevant policies and processes for the QA process (aligned with the ISO standards). I am responsible for completing all assigned QA tasks within agreed time frames and supporting completion of test documentation (e.g. test strategy and closure reports). I also coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), report on project status to relevant stakeholders (business and IT), carry out defect capture / triage and commonly collaborate with solution architects, business analysts and developers. In addition, I support junior members in the team performing their roles. Prior to this, I worked for Expleo Ireland servicing Primark. As part of this role, I was responsible for creating BDD (behavior-driven development) test scripts to cover all requirements and further review these scripts with clients before implementation on front end oracle retail software. I am also motivated to continually learn and develop. Since completing my undergraduate degree (a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Computer & Communications Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology), I also successfully completed the ISTQB Advanced Certificate in Software Testing. In addition, I have undertaken extensive internal training (such as QA to QE Expleo program phase 2). Any role will require considerable energy and a capacity to engage with a diverse range of complex issues on a day-to-day basis. I have the broad range of qualities, competencies and experiences required to be successful in the role. I have the ability to quickly assimilate information, understand multifaceted issues and work to meet deadlines, either independently or as part of a team. I am quick to grasp new concepts and have proven ability to develop effective solutions to problems. In any role, I believe I can make a valuable contribution to any IT project
