About Sean Malone

I specialize in the application of economics, finance, and statistical analysis to the evaluation of quantitative evidence. My work focuses on rigorous, methodologically sound analysis, including econometric modeling, statistical sampling, damages estimation, and the examination of large and complex datasets. I have authored analytic reports and conducted empirical analyses in matters involving valuation questions, consumer and financial services data, civil rights and discrimination claims, property and tax disputes, and other contexts where economic and statistical evidence is central. I regularly apply techniques such as regression analysis, event studies, survival analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation. My work emphasizes transparency, replicability, and clear communication of assumptions, limitations, and results. In addition to consulting, I teach finance and statistics. Currently, I am the Principal Consultant and Managing Member of Harbor View Group LLC.
