About Sean Manhertz

I am a Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience who has contributed to award-winning and high profit applications in the financial and agricultural industries. An inquisitive problem solver, I currently serve my team as it's Tech Lead by driving technical decisions, addressing blocks to productivity, conducting technical interviews, mentoring engineers, and all-around serving as a force multiplier. When an organization needs to introduce a new framework or innovate on a technology, I am usually one of the first boots on the ground. With a proven ability to adapt I have worn many hats across the software development stack in the JavaScript ecosystem. From developing customer pdf's using headless browsers, implementing event-driven architecture with Redis, designing quality charts with D3.js, serving as a release manager for a team of 12 developers, contributing custom map layers and features to an OpenLayers based mapping library, rebuilding ASP.Net sites into modern frameworks, and much more. I am always open to learning new technologies and continually striving to improve. Specialties: Javascript, React, React Native, Vue.js, Node.js, C#, Agile, Scrum, a11y development, AWS
