About Sean Martin

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), I have over 11 years of experience in the mental health field, working with clients of various ages, backgrounds, and needs. I am passionate about providing trauma informed care and evidence-based interventions to help them overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. Currently, I am a Mental Health Therapist at Legacy Community Health, where I provide individual and family counseling, conduct school based assessments and interventions, and offer psychoeducational and group training on topics such as provider burnout, psychological first aid, and coping skills. I also have experience in program development, quality management, risk management, and compliance with state and federal regulations. I am committed to enhancing the mental health and well-being of the communities I serve. I am also passionate about program development including inpatient psychiatric units and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), quality management, DSHS, CMS, and Joint Commission compliance, risk management and safety, performance improvement, and I have extensive experience with Texas Administrative Code and Texas Mental Health Law.
