Background

About Sean McDonald

I am an accomplished professional with a demonstrated ability to deliver results. I have extensive experience in all phases of utility construction specializing in pipelines and public utilities. In my many years working as a Right of Way Agent I have negotiated purchases in fee, easements, franchise agreements and leases. I work closely with legal departments to create documents that both strengthen and preserve existing rights. As a Routing Manager at Black & Veatch I have extensive experience routing Pipelines (oil, gas, water, storm, sewer) Electric Transmission Lines, Distribution Lines, Carbon capture, and Fiber optic lines throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. In these routing efforts I leverages my extensive construction, inspection, and acquisition background to not only find the shortest route but also considers permitting, zoning (local, and national), and constructability in his evaluation. For these routing activities Sean takes the lead in producing alternatives analysis that includes multiple disciplines such as engineering, environmental, permitting, and procurement.
