About Sean McLaughlin

I have over 20 years experience within the IT industry, covering various industry sectors including nuclear, finance, travel, government, energy and utilities, retail and telecommunications using a range of different technologies. My career has followed an archetypical route from an IT perspective where I have progressed from a junior developer through to senior and then onto project / software development management. I can communicate across all tiers of the business and I have strong management skills as I have led and managed teams, supported business models and delivered projects accordingly. My focus is on Product and Solution Development/Delivery, Research and Innovation, as well as, Operational Maintenance and Support, whilst increasing business acumen in order to drive commercial outcomes. I have worked globally with different cultures in United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia and United States of America and I hold dual citizenship (British and New Zealand).
