About Sean Mobley

With over seven years of experience as the Indiana Director of Climate Strategy and Senior Policy Associate for Climate and Clean Energy at The Nature Conservancy (TNC), I am passionate about advancing large-scale collaboration and meaningful policy changes on environmental issues at the state, Midwest, and national levels. I assist with the implementation of government relations strategies through programmatic education and advocacy, working in close partnership with the Midwest Climate and Energy Policy Advisor and other regional staff of TNC. I have a strong background in government and public relations, with extensive Congressional, legislative, and press networking relationships in Washington D.C. and Midwest states. I also have a master's degree in environmental policy and sustainability, and graduate certificates in nonprofit management and watershed management, which enable me to design and coordinate conservation, climate change, and energy initiatives with various stakeholders in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. I am skilled in fiscal management, writing, and strategic communications, and I am always looking for opportunities to improve systems and processes to drive efficiency and impact.
