About Sean Morrison

A senior leader with broad experience in financial services and loyalty. Driven to realise great customer and commercial outcomes through strong partnerships, sound judgement and authentic leadership. With the majority of my career spent working across banking segments in New Zealand and the UK delivering transformation initiatives including brand and system mergers (ANZ and The National Bank), developing propositions (ANZ Financial Wellbeing) and products (ANZ Airpoints Card suite, Commercial Card Management platform) and key regulatory frameworks I bring strong change and stakeholder management, product development and customer and commercial experience. More recently at Air New Zealand leading the strategic direction of banking and card partners within the Airpoints Loyalty programme through acquisition and retention campaigns, product development, governance and creation of long term commercial agreements. I have delivered results through leadership, effective relationship management, understanding customer, local and global industry trends and maintaining a broad network across the payments industry. In addition leading a dedicated commercial governance function within Loyalty, developing a long term vision for mobile first engagement via Gamification, Digital Identity and Personalisation and led the response to Merchant Service Fee regulation provides a further depth to my experience to draw on. Leading teams by setting shared vision and coaching and delivering through a range of frameworks with direct experience in agile, waterfall and scrum.
