About Sean Murphy

With over three decades of experience, I am a seasoned consultant specializing in transformative land development solutions across the Southeastern United States. My career began in due diligence, site design, and landscape architecture, where I led and delivered landmark projects ranging from high-end boutique developments to large-scale, mixed-use initiatives. In senior leadership roles including Studio Manager, Planning Director, and Principal, I honed my expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and executing complex projects. I also founded, scaled, and successfully exited my own consulting firm, Amenity Architects, LLC. Currently, as Vice President of Technical Services at F.S. Scarbrough, LLC, I combine technical expertise with business leadership to enhance and streamline operations across multiple divisions. I oversee the implementation and management of technologies including company networking systems and hardware, personal computing hardware acquisition and deployment, software and application management, GPS-driven mechanical systems, and aerial drone operations. Additionally, I manage special projects for the owners that may include dealing with unique job site environmental and permitting problems, capital investment projects, directing marketing strategies, and developing new revenue streams. My portfolio includes directing medium to large-scale site development and infrastructure projects for premier public, institutional, and commercial clients. Beyond this, I am actively developing multiple RV park ventures through private and professional partnerships. My professional credentials reflect a steadfast commitment to excellence, with current or past licensure as a Landscape Architect in Georgia and Florida, LEED AP accreditation, USACE wetland delineation certification, GSWCC Level II Design Professional, and ISA Certified Arborist status. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with some of the most respected names in the private and public sectors, including Disney Development, Chick-fil-A, Marriott, Hines, Greystar, the Atlanta Olympic Committee, and the Trust for Public Land. My work also extends to respected local public entities such as Cobb, Fulton, and DeKalb Counties and cities including Smyrna, Chamblee, Norcross, and Suwanee. I’ve also consulted with the United States Air Force and the University Board of Regents, earning a reputation for delivering innovative solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.
