About Sean Oconnor

Sean O’Connor is a successful health professional currently working as a Project Manager in Arts & Health in Health & Wellbeing across the HSE, and with the Mental Health Commission as a lay member on tribunal panels. He is also currently delivering his Drive Aware Programme throughout the country, the Drive Aware Programme (DAP) is a programme designed to deliver changes in attitude and behaviour relating to impaired, dangerous and careless driving. With Sean O’Connor Coaching he delivers one to one sessions along with training workshops and seminars. Sean also is and author of a number of books based on his working career over the years. His previous career roles include: Project Manager with the HSE National Clinical Programme for People with Disability, Drugs & Alcohol as a Task Force Manager in the HSE, Director of Dyslexia Association of Ireland, Chairperson & Director of Pieta House, Her Majesties Court Service as a sitting Magistrate / Justice of the Peace, Managing Drugs & Alcohol Services, An Addiction Counsellor in the Community and Prison settings, Counselling in the Community and Health Care wings in the Prison setting, Criminal Justice Services in Probation as Drug & Alcohol worker, Media Work within TV and Radio. And in Engineering where he started out as a fresh faced sixteen year old serving a four year apprenticeship before moving on to a large multinational Oil and Gas company.
