About Sean Odea
For the past five years I have amassed a wealth of experience in the insurance and actuary industry. As a long term fixture at Irish Life Group, I have been able to work across many varied areas of the business. Thanks to the Actuarial Rotational Scheme I have gathered valuable experience in Retail Data Strategy, Retail Actuarial Projects & Services, Group Risk – both Capital Management and Financial Risk. Prior to my time in Irish Life I spent six months with Zurich Life Assurance PLC as a Risk Management Intern Actuary. I have a passion for learning and self-development. In 2017 I completed my Bachelor of Actuarial and Financial Studies at University College Dublin, and have subsequently become a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Outside of the workplace I have a passion for sport and have represented the Limerick Senior Football team since 2014.
