MANAGER OF DATA SOLUTIONS (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICS)As the Manager Data Solutions, it is my responsibility to- provide technical architecture, development guidelines, data integration strategies, data governance, and reporting for all of our new and existing business applications - operate effectively and efficiently within the IT Execution Layer among the business solutions, SAP, and technical solutions teams - manage the execution of the BI solutions from end-to-end, floor-to-cloud across multiple platforms - work closely with key individuals to understand customer requirements in order to provide self-driven data analytics via complete, accurate, and comprehensive data-modelling - make sure the team as a whole is on top of emerging technical trends and best practices that keep the business competitive while maintaining an innovative approach - drive change by identifying areas of analytical focus that lead to results with integrityIt is also my responsibility to support, mentor, guide, and lead a skilled team of BI specialists who are required to- work closely with the IT Solutions Layer to deliver project specifications that best fulfil the customers needs - collaborate with a Solutions Architect to outline the data requirements and data management process - create detailed data design specifications for the Development layer of the IT Groups which include, Software Development, Security, Technical Solutions, and R&D/AI - lead the design, and development of dashboards, interfaces and reports in Power BI while maintaining data management and visualization standards - perform complex data analysis using current tools - monitor and manage the use of existing metrics and make recommendations to improve results, clarity of data, and improve the customers data experience - collaborate with a Development Layer Leads to ensure the solution meets security directives and utilizes the latest in AI analytics - work closely with the development team leads to ensure seamless integration of data visuals in related product solutions
