About Sean Orme

I have a passion for building, designing, creating, and problem solving. This is portrayed in my love for all thing related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and education. I have a thorough immersion in educational philosophy through both undergraduate and graduate degrees in education. I also have 7 years experience developing hundreds of online classes at two major universities in Arkansas were I led the revamping of the course development process at both universities. Both experiences led to a much more organized and stream lined process that ensured much higher quality and uniform course design. I also spent several years as the Quality Matters Coordinator at UA Little Rock, ensuring that our online courses met rigorous, nationally recognized and researched best practices and standards. Finally, I have been instrumental and am the sole developer of the online Computer Science program at UA Little Rock, helping to bring that department into 21st century education. Currently, more students sign up for my online version of courses offered than face to face if both are offered in the same semester.
