About Sean Orourke
My engineering career has been devoted to water and wastewater infrastructure. Primarily, I focus on buried pipeline condition assessment, rehabilitation, and trenchless technologies. Prior to engineering, I was in construction and I still cannot help but see projects from the eyes of that young carpenter in the trenches. This is exactly why I have such a strong appreciation for trenchless construction (i.e. decreasing the construction footprint). I’ve worked on many dozens of buried water infrastructure projects everywhere from California to New Hampshire. I’ve gained several certifications from the industry organizations (NASSCO, NASTT, HDD Academy) and am active in the trenchless engineering community. I have presented at over twenty state, national, and local WEF, NASTT, or ASCE events.
