Project Manager. Almost 20 years as a Volunteer Firefighter in Quinte West. Firefighter Level 1 & 2 Certified, Trainer Facilitator, HAZMAT OPS Level, First Aid First Responder, Ice/Water Rescue, Operations. We should always be training and learning. I will always be looking for courses and seminars that compliment my career and development. I decided in the last 2 years that I needed to work harder on my own mental health and personal development. If we don't look after ourselves, we can't be as effective looking after our families and our teams. My habits and routines needed some attention. I wrote and self-published a book about overcoming habitual drinking. My intentions with this book are to help my former self recognize the toxicity of my old routine and to encourage the reader to challenge themselves to make their own changes."This is just who I am" is the worst thing I ever told myself. I couldn't have been more wrong.
