About Sean Rollofson

Former corps dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet for the past five years. Trained for 12 years with Pacific Northwest Ballet School, along with attending School of American Ballet summer course for three year (2006,07,08) and National Ballet School of Canada summer course (2006) all on scholarship. Recently choreographed the ballet "Innertwined" for the Professional Division students at PNB for "Next Step"(2011) Swerve (2012) and most recently Marquise (2013). While at PNB I have danced a large range of ballets choreographed by George Balanchine, Jerome Robins, Kent Stowell, Jiri Kylian, Twyla Tharp, Val Caniparoli, along with others. Danced leading roles in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom) and Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Roméo et Juliette (Acolyte). He originated a leading role in Marco Goecke’s Place a Chill. He has performed featured roles in George Balanchine’s Symphony in C, Jiri Kylian’s Sechs Tänze (Six Dances), and Kent Stowell’s Nutcracker, and Twyla Tharp’s Waterbaby Bagatelles. Danced in the BBC's film version of PNB's production of George Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, filmed at Sadler's Wells Theatre, London.
