About Sean Rush

Introduction During over 25 years in top tier law firms across Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America, I developed significant insight and expertise in assisting clients of diverse backgrounds and cultures to manage major projects and transactions and to develop their business. I am now leveraging my considerable international expertise assisting clients in growing their business or managing major transactions and projects. I have also now followed my other passion of yachting, purchasing Ensign Yachts, Australia's premier yacht group. Experience I have advised on a plethora of transactions and projects around the globe, in emerging and developed markets, in a variety of sectors from renewable energy, infrastructure, natural resources and private equity to healthcare, aviation, financial services and telecommunications. I have also advised clients on their investments in Australia and other countries around the globe. In my time as a senior international partner at Baker McKenzie, I was the Australian Head of Banking & Finance and on regional and global steering committees. I have developed businesses and teams and assisted in guiding the strategic direction of a number of organisations. I have advised on a substantial majority of the renewable energy transactions in the market and am recognised as one of the top renewable energy advisers in the country. Skills I am known for being a collaborative leader, respected and trusted by my peers, team members and the market. This recognition has been based on my acute sense of the market, a clear customer focus and ability to think laterally, as well as the ability to adeptly manage the needs and interests of the different stakeholders involved in a transaction.
