About Sean Sethi
Since 2010, I have accrued a wide breadth of experience in the field of neuroimaging using MRI methods both in industry and in academia. I have proficiency with image processing and analysis for neurological and neurodegenerative diseases with a focus on gradient echo MRI and MR mapping techniques. The industrial side entails developing and deploying a medical device for rapid, quantitative MRI for clinical application and has led to multiple successful FDA 510k submissions. Currently, my role has been in image analysis and systems integration of our flagship software in healthcare settings, as well as collaboration with clinical teams to continuously improve the product and MR image quality. In my industry and academic experience, I have published over 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals in MRI and MRI post-processing methods and have delivered presentations at multiple conferences. The work has been collaborative and has involved numerous experts in aging, cognitive neuroscience, and neurodegenerative disease. I have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA.
