Yes, I was one of those kids that was going around looking to mow lawns in the summer for $10. Then, I started mowing lawns for the town I lived in. Next, came college where, you guessed it, I mowed lawns for the city there too! While in college in-between mowing lawns and studying, I found my passion for online marketing/commerce. It began with me trying to sell my books back to the bookstore and them offering a hilariously low price for them. That lead to a google search, which lead to half.com, which lead to me buying other books off of kids and reselling them for well more than double of what the book store cartel was buying them for. Win win for me and other kids. After college I just couldn't shake the online marketing bug. I registered my first domain in 2009 and thought I was an online real estate mogul. Fast forward years and thousands of hours (ask my wife) of researching, testing and trying things I eventually started a marketing agency where I helped local businesses rank on google, as well as, get new customers. Client work got tiring and I was seeing how much these local home service companies were making off of our ads. They were just proving the operations, we were giving them the leads on a plate. Sold that business to my partner and purchased my first franchise territory. Took that territory, along with the partner "big brother" territory, to become the number 1 franchise in the system for 2 years in a row. Saw a new opportunity to do the same with another franchise in the "Home Service" field. Bought that one in early 2020.*bad things happened* I'll skip ahead a bit, and report that we're officially back on track to meet our original goal of being number 1 in the system. Truth is, after a decade in the Home Services field, I know what works and what doesn't work. In addition, I've dedicated years on fine tuning the process of recruiting and hiring hourly employees, which I have detailed in a flow chart. Reach out if you want to chat!
