About Sean Wallace

I've always had a fascination for animation. Since I was only five years old, I was creating stop-motion animations with my dad. It required me to set up the camera, pose the LEGO mini-figures, and then snap the photo. Eventually, I got into more complicated processes like sound effects, green screen, and masking. Once I got into high school, I continued my interest by attending the Digital Media Academy program at a second school, where I started to learn animation fundamentals like anticipation and overlap. At that point, I was introduced to Maya and Mudbox where I modeled characters and I even got some animation experience in Motion Builder with a professional from EA. Moving on to Capilano University, I took the 3D animation program where I began to learn 3D animation in Maya and study life drawing. I graduated and received my associate's degree, along with the Dean's List award. I'm excited to see what new paths open up for me as I continue my career in animation!
