15+ years of engineering experience in electronic manufacturing, wireless communication, mobile computing and testing field, engaged with all phases of product development life cycle for New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production, and supported all the ongoing factory tests being conducted in Device Hardware Engineering Group. Specified and implemented test process control, test data collection, and documentation of all the test results. My key areas of expertise include, but are not limited to the following: • Practical hands on experience developing and testing electronic products using electronics lab equipment and debug tools • Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing electronic devices in component level using common tools such as Oscilloscope, signal and function generator, Multi-meter and RF spectrum analyzers during NPI and manufacturing • Experience integrating microprocessors with peripheral components and performing test, assembly and modification of circuits boards assemblies using electronics tools • Knowledge of wireless communications and antenna theories, daily experience with all mobile technologies (GSM/EDGE/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA, BT and 802.11a/b/g/n) • Deep and thorough understanding of digital and analog circuits with over 8 years of experience of PCB design and schematic capture with ECAD tools such as OrCAD, Altium Designer and NI MultiSim • Experience carrying out design of experiments to diagnose complex technical issues • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis based on collected test data and drive corrective actions • Excellent understanding and experience with the reliability HW/SW aspects of complex systems (HW/SW). • Strong hand soldering skills with over 10 years of experience on components of through hole, SMDs and BGAs
