About Sean Whitehead

I am a hard working veteran of the U.S. Air Force where I was stationed at Pope AFB, North Carolina as a C-130E aircraft Electrical & Environmental Systems Specialist. Upon completion of duty, I came home and found a position at W.W. Wood Products working for over 5 years building custom cabinetry. While attending college I worked as a supervisor for the City of Sikeston, MO for a city betterment mowing program. My position included supervising high school workers to mow vacant lots condemned by the city, maintaining and transporting mowing equipment, transporting our team via 18 passanger van, inventory of goods and equipment, and working with city officials. At the same time I started my college venture in Design Drafting at Southeast Missouri State University. Upon graduation I took a job as a CAD sheet metal engineer at Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures. There I became an experienced custom sheetmetal designer utilizing Solid Edge CAD software and Epicor ERP business software, as well as being customer service/order entry/quoting. After 5 1/2 years, I was given an opportunity to change jobs and be closer to home with Mondi Jackson. Currently I work in Product Development as a project coordinator, using Adobe Illustrator and Solid Edge to design layout drawings for flexible packaging. I am also an assistant to the Product Development Engineering Team and use SAP for my position. I live with my loving wife and daughter, as well as two humane society rescued dogs. In my spare time I enjoy working on cars and spending time with my family.
