Hello! I’m Sebastian Saenz. I am a junior at Florida State University pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics with a 3.75 GPA. I was born in Nicaragua and raised in Miami, a cultural blend that has shaped my outlook and adaptability. At FSU, I’ve immersed myself in both majors to build a strong foundation in economic theory and financial strategy. I initially chose Economics because I’ve always been fascinated by how consumer sentiment connects with financial markets. I enjoy analyzing how incentives and policy shifts influence asset prices and broader market behavior. Studying Economics has also changed the way I think—it's sharpened my deductive reasoning and given me a deeper appreciation for the trade-offs in everyday decisions. I added Finance to complement this perspective with the technical skills and math-driven problem solving that align with my critical and logical thinking patterns. Looking ahead, I aspire to build a career in asset management. I’m passionate about helping people understand and grow their wealth, and I find more purpose in supporting individuals rather than large corporations. I aim to contribute to the long-term financial well-being of clients by crafting tailored investment strategies, managing risk thoughtfully, aligning portfolios with each person’s unique goals and values, and making real change—one client at a time.
