Background
About Sebastian Unsin
I want to bring the power of mathematics to relevant real-world problems. As a mathematician with strong computer science background, my key interests are Data Science, Mathematical Modeling and Machine Learning. Within the Machine Learning World, I especially like methods, which allow to bring as much prior knowledge into the model as possible, while leaving degrees of freedom only where it is necessary to expoit the data. I'd love to make a contribution for a interpretable, sustainable and no-nonsense use of Machine Learning.Beside my current professional activity (which might be a bit nerdy for some.), I am also holding a degree in Music Ecucation and my experiance as a teacher in a Gymnasium (German High School) enriches my communication skills in complex topics. I enjoy making complex things comprehensive and extracting their essence (which is a very complex task again). In my free time I love making music and I am constantly doing kind of "little research" in almost everything -)
