Senior community engagement, social performance, and social risk expert. Specialist in working on difficult projects or challenging policies that need to engage with diverse stakeholders. I’ve worked globally and I’ve worked in tiny communities. I’ve worked as a senior government policymaker and regulator; for infrastructure and resources companies in very difficult situations; and for civil society groups asking questions that people don’t particularly want to answer. I've figured out how to ask the occasional good question, but only because I've made lots of mistakes and have asked plenty of bad ones. I lead teams that are really interested in social impacts and social risks; in engagement with communities in Australia and New Zealand; all while understanding geopolitics and keeping an eye on the long-run. It's about how we make tough gnarly decisions about tough gnarly problems.
