I have twenty-five years experience in education, most of that in math. I have spent most of my time developing strategies for upper level math. I participated in two grants, focussing on curriculum development at the university level. As a result of my involvement, I was invited by the NSF to Washington DC to help plan and expedite a convention on Teacher Leadership for TERC, NSF's education component. Currently. I am teaching Cognitive Intervention at a prison, for the Windham Scool District. If you had told me that I would stop teaching math before I retired, I would have said it was a ridiculous idea. However, this is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done.
