About Selena Monegro

Retail Therapy. This term has bridged people together since it was created. As someone who not only loves shopping but has worked in Retail for 4 ½ years altogether, seeing someone’s eyes light up when making eye contact with an item makes my heart flutter. Working in retail I’ve been someone’s diary who keeps all the secrets sealed, a comedian making the customers laugh, or even being a shoulder to cry on. As a young child to an immigrant father I was encouraged to articulate myself in ways where anyone can understand me. Thus making communicating with others a skill I’ve mastered along the way and continue to daily. I am currently in my second year of college online working on my early childhood education degree. I have built up a passion for teaching others whether young or old. Having a background in not only retail but teaching shows the love I have for making interpersonal relations that expand further than a classroom or an establishment. I love going out to new places and exploring what the world has to offer!
