About Selena Moukachar
I am a Law (Honours) graduate from the University of South Australia and am currently completing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History & Global Politics and Sociology. I am also undertaking a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice full-time, which I expect to complete by July 2025. My legal experience includes roles with Women’s Legal Services SA, Northern Community Legal Service, and the UniSA Legal Advice Clinic. In these positions, I supported clients from diverse backgrounds on complex legal matters, developing strong skills in legal research, advocacy, and case management. In addition to my legal work, I founded Share Our Closet and have held leadership roles that enhanced my abilities in negotiation, contract drafting, risk management, and dispute resolution. I am deeply committed to improving access to justice, particularly for linguistically diverse communities. I am currently learning Arabic and plan to continue building my language skills to better support clients navigating the legal system. Though currently based in Adelaide, South Australia, I am also willing to relocate for opportunities.
