A student of Columbia Engineering, with a concentration in Data Science.I received my bachelors at the University of California San Diego where I excelled and was the recipient of the provost honors award for 9 quarters.My 2 years of experience as a Data Science Tutor and 4 months of experience as Data analyst intern at UnitedHealth Group has enabled me to attain a diversified set of skills.During my professional journey, I have leveraged several skills in various facets including: Machine Learning- Completed several projects over the duration of 6 months with extensive scikit learn usage, utilizing various different classification and regression models such as K-NN, Random Forest, and SVM.Held discussion sections and Office hours dissecting mathematical foundations of popular ML algorithms and techniques. Data Cleaning- Analyzed massive spreadsheets entries), parsed through documents fixing format and structure errors using RegEx through Python, prepared public datasets for students to access in midterm and final projects/exams. Web Scraping- Constructed an NLP model from web scraped data from the Project Gutenberg website by developing an N-gram model; employed probability centric design to parse complete works of Shakespeare and output new text proceeding from existing literature in 2 weeks.
