I am a generalist Human Resource professional with over 15 years HR experience, 8 of which have been in senior positions in non-governmental, not for profit and development organizations, progressively making positive impact in employee and the organizations life cycle and gaining knowledge on different donors such as USAID, OFDA, DANIDA, ECHO. In my various capacities I have been responsible for setting up the HR department, ensuring the organization’s policies and procedures are developed and implemented, overseen HR functions such as: staffing, training and development, employee relations, benefits and compensation, safeguarding and staff wellness, team management and ensuring staff performance excellence including implementing and managing human resource information management system including payroll management.I have been in charge of the human resource functions of staff ranging from 7 – 650, encompassing both national and international staff based in Kenya, Somalia and Sudan and been part of the leadership team.My objective is to ensure staff are strategically placed within the organization that ensures both the staff and organizational growth.
