About Sem Braaksma
During the BSc Biology I came into contact with microbiology and the whole subject fascinated me ever since. Therefore, I started an MSc program in microbiology and would like to eventually do a PhD in that field. My varied academic experience enables me to apply interdisciplinary methods to the field of microbiology, allowing me to maintain a broad vision on the subject. I have already performed microbiological and bioinformatical experiments on aquatic and soil samples, yeast and various bacterial species.
