Activities and Achievements (Engineering): • Presented a paper on 'Automatic Street Lighting Control' and secured First place in INOVAR, a paper presentation event organized by Women in Development Cell, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore (December 2013). • Coordinated workshops as a Student Executive of Higher Education Forum during the academic year 2012 – 2013. • Presented a paper in INTELLECTO TECHNICA’13 conducted by STUDENT BRANCH, PSG College of Technology. Activities and Achievements (Teaching-Learning): • Extensively used Visible Thinking Routines (VTRs) to enhance the thinking skills of children. • Modelled transfer skills using VTRs to resolve conflicts and to arrive at a solution establishing a positive classroom culture. • Facilitated learning for children beyond classroom through reflection journals of “IB Learner Profile Attributes” and “Approaches to learning skills”. • Used ‘plays’ to increase the comprehending ability by addressing the fear on English language.
